Baby Shaq is NEVER SCARED

On Saturday, I witnessed something special. Not only did I see Kevin Durant, the 2 time NBA scoring champion make his presence known at the Indoor Goodman Coalition for the playoffs, but I got to witness my boy Baby Shaq. Formerly of And 1, he put on a show for himself and the crowd.
Some basketball followers have no idea about Baby Shaq, who stands a mere 6`3 or 6`4. I like to say that he is the street ball version of Charles Barkley. He can shoot the long range three's along with a mean inside game. I know in the NBA, to get on a team, politics are huge, but that should not hamper the chances for someone like Baby Shaq. He deserves a chance. I would love to see him a Washington Wizard if given a chance. Ernie or Tommy, I hope you are reading this!

Kevin Durant had the duties most of the game to cover Baby Shaq but it didn't even matter who was sticking him. The man was on fire and anything he was throwing up, was going in. Kevin Durant seemed frustrated at the fact that Baby Shaq was en fuego. As Dan Patrick would say on SportsCenter, "you can't stop him, you can only hope to contain him."
Baby Shaq once told me he was 'never scared' when it comes to NBA players or the game of basketball and he wasn't joking. Saturday proved that statement otherwise.
Now mind you, Kevin Durant had one helluva game himself. He scored basically anytime he wanted too but was frustrated during the end of the game as Shaq's team would double team him. Durant had no choice but to give the ball up.
Watch out for Baby Shaq as he is part of the Goodman League team that will go against the Drew League team of LA. Shaq is only one of three non NBA players that is on the roster for the Goodman League.
Here is my interview with Baby Shaq after the game
Check out the highlights from this past Saturday's Goodman League playoffs. Mostly Kevin Durant.
Other appearances at the Goodman League that day were former NBA player DeMarr Johnson, And 1's infamous White Chocolate, and George Mason's Florian Campbell who was on Kevin Durant's team. He was part of the amazing George Mason team that went to the Final 4.
