Gilbert's Confessions: CSN Interview Part 1

Nobody expected what to hear from Gilbert, hell, I don't even think Gilbert knew either;

Chris asked Gilbert about his life as a Wizard in the beginning:

"I did not have no expectations, I basically got play however i wanted to play, once Eddie Jordan saw what i could do, he let the leash go."

On the ride with the All Star:

"It was like a roller coaster ride, it went really quick....when I was up there, I was up there.....it was that swagger that I had, the confident level was high because at that point in time,  I felt like nobody in the planet that could have stopped me even if they tried, only person that could have stopped me would have been Eddie Jordan who could have benched me."

On Wizards selecting John Wall:

"I thought the end was near when i went through everything, I couldn't see myself back," he continued on to say that he kinda knew that the Wizards would get the #1 pick.

"I remember a kid, his name is Zack, he's from Detroit, we always talk about basketball stuff....he said whose gonna get the #1 pick, and I said the Wizards will get the number 1 pick, he was like why," Gilbert continued, "because I need to be replaced."

Gilbert said he was watching Wall's highlights and said "this kid is good."

Chris Miller stated after the first part, that Gilbert is in a different place in his life. Chris also said that he is in a better place and I honestly believe that.

And anything was off limits, like his personal life, Chris said there was NOTHING off limits for this interview.  LOOK OUT FOR THE OTHER PARTS AS SOON AS COMCAST RELEASES IT! 10pm tonight.
