JaVale McGee to the NBA Slam Dunk Contest

The high flying 7`1 center will be in the NBA All Star Slam Dunk Contest

JaVale McGee according to several reports is said to be joining the NBA Slam Dunk Contest along with the Oklahoma City Thunder's Center Serge Ibaka (what?), Milwaukee Bucks guard Brandon Jennings (umm) and superstar forward of the Los Angeles Clippers,  Blake Griffin (oh crap).

He told me several weeks back that he was wanted to be part of it and that he asked the NBA.  Well, he got his wish.

JaVale real competition seems to be Blake Griffin who is a dunking machine.  Brandon Jennings may surprise everyone since he's only 6`1.  He has some hops to him but not sure what kind of creativity he has.  Ibaka of the OKC Thunder is a surprise to me, I would have rather have seen the Vince Carter of old but I may eat my words if Ibaka impresses (which I doubt).

I've seen JaVale during warm ups do Michael Jordan type dunks and I am talking dunks you don't see from a 7`1 do in the NBA. Do not be surprised if he wins it.

The world will see it go down on All Star Weekend, Feburary 16th.
