Goodbye Wes Unseld Jr.

Wes Unseld Jr. has packed his things and has moved on to join Mark Jackson and the Golden St. Warriors according to Michael Lee of the Washington Post.

That is great news for Wes.  I've talked to  Wes numerous times and I can't say anything negative.  The guy is a class act and was always putting in work before games with the players. 

I wish Wes Unseld Jr. nothing but the best. 

Also according to Michael Lee in the post article, he states:

"According to a league source, the Wizards have offered or intend to offer contracts to the remaining members of Saunders’s staff --Wittman, Cassell, Zierden, Ryan Saunders and Gene Banks"

This is good news for John Wall as Sam Cassell is retained.  Jimmy is learning how to become a great point guard from a guy who's been through it all and has seen it all.  Sam Cassell, will one day make a great head coach if given the right opportunity. Sam the man tells it like it is and is a straight shooter.  That's a good quality to have in a head coach.
