Flip Saunders is Coming Back
It looks like Coach Flip Saunders will be back and retained by the Wizards front office for the 2011-2012 barring any lock out. I was told by a source that Flip Saunders has informed the coaching staff that they are indeed coming back next year.
Saunders will be entering his 3rd year as the head coach of the Washington Wizards next season. With a new owner who has a great track record in Ted Leonsis and a GM who has made some great decisions and some you could question in Ernie Grunfeld. It looks like Wizards are sticking to a plan like the Oklahoma City Thunder are famous of creating. OKC Thunder have one of the youngest and dynamic teams (not to mention, a playoff team) as they are lead by superstar and local Washingtonian, Kevin Durant.
Saunders has been criticized for his coaching as he did not sign up for this. He started off with the likes of Gilbert Arenas, Caron Butler, and Antawn Jamison. He is now coaching a young team with 5 rookies (John Wall, Kevin Seraphin, Jordan Crawford, HamadiN`Diaye, and Trevor Booker)
