For the last minute of the game, the crowd all stood and cheered on the Wizards, applauding and amping them up for the home win.

Streamers and confetti shot out as soon as the clock ran out, signifying the Wizards had ended their six-game losing streak.

Jordan Crawford scored a game high 31 points, including five three-pointers, while John Wall added 24 points to lead the Wizards to a 101-98 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers last night. Roger Mason had a big 2nd quarter when he scored all 11 of his points off the bench. Maurice Evans with 7.

Jan Vesely also brought a lot of energy off the Wizards bench and had some of his best dunks of the season. He finished with 9 points, five rebounds, and two blocks.

It had been a tough return for Andray Blatche, who had missed a month with a strained calf, and as usual, heard boos from the crowd once he entered the game. Though he only scored one point, he contributed 9 rebounds and 5 assists.

“John Wall has been playing well," Wizards’ coach Randy Wittman said. "I like where he’s been going with his decision-making. That’s the growth of a point guard and he’s made great steps over the past couple of weeks. That’s what we want every night."
