LaRon Landry went down for the count and missed minicamp becuase of a paintball related injury.

I play paintball myself so I got a kick out of the article. it would have been worse if he was playing my team. He would have been finished for the season ;)

Believe it or not Paintball is a pretty physical sport and injuires are pretty common. Dont ask me how I know :scared:

Yeah I've played some paintball in my time, and let me tell you those damn balls hurt if they catch you right... fortunately I've never taken one in the groin, though...

The first time I ever played paintball was at my brothers birthday party like whew, 10 years ago maybe. I crept up on my uncle and just blasted him in the top of his head where the helmet/face guard thing doesn't cover. He had a huge welt. I still talk **** to him about that to this day.

UNCONFIRMED REPORT OF LANDRY'S PAINTBALL-TO-THE-BALLSACK INCIDENT

We usually don't run with tips from readers unless and until we can get corroboration. But in rare cases the tip is so darn funny that we have to share it.

So take this one for what it's worth. It might be wrong. It might be right. But it's nevertheless entertaining.

A guy who knows the person who owns the paintball park at which Redskins safety LaRon Landry got hit in LaDong with a tiny ball of paint says Landry had "shot" one of his Redskins teammates, knocking him out of the game. Then, Landry walked up to the player, who was on the ground at the time, and proclaimed that he was going to finish him off, execution style.

The teammate then raised his paintball gun and shot Landry point-blank in the crotch.

Again, it might be completely untrue, but it's still hilarious.

A guy shot me with an automatic paint ball gun when I took my goggles off to reload. Got me right under my eye. A half inch up and I could have been in serious trouble.

LaRon ends his holdout and signs a 5 year deal with the Skins.
Redskins sign sixth pick in draft, LSU's Landry

Working all through the day Sunday, the Washington Redskins were finally able to strike an agreement early Monday morning with first-round choice LaRon Landry of LSU, the sixth player selected overall in this year's draft.

The deal, negotiated by agent Joel Segal, came just shy of 1 a.m. Monday, and will be signed later in the day after both sides review the final document.

The five-year contract has a maximum value of $41.5 million and it includes $17.5 million in guarantees.
