Trade RUMOR (super rumor) involving Etan

I haven't seen this anywhere else and I question the validity of it due to the absolutely horrible writing and the fact that he calls Etan our "troubled center" (I believe that would be Brenda, not Etan.) But whatever, you never know.

Two new recent developments have been sent to me by a couple of sources. One says that the Washington Wizards are working on a deal with the Houston Rockets, the basis of the deal is Ethan Thomas to the Rockets for Bob Sura, Kirk Snyder and John Lucas. The Wizards are looking to deal their troubled center would get the cap relief in 2008 so that they could offer Gilbert Arenas more money.

I think if the Washington Wizards Trade anybody, I think they should trade Antawn Jamison for Gerald Wallace and Sean May. I think they will bring the wizards defense and a bigger line-up by putting Caron Butler at shooting guard.

Later that night on the Wiz call in show a caller mentioned that Haywood has had a series of these sort of issues with the team (some including Gil and EJ) yet everyone wanted Etan gone.

So whats the deal? Has this dude always been a malcontent? He sounds like a little bitch to me. He certainly plays like it on the court.

He is a cry baby, sorry excuse for 7 feet of a basketball player. If he even played with 50% the heart that Caron or Twan had...two of his closer friends on the team, he would be a beast in the East..but instead he wants to bicker and moan about his playing time and the fact that his inside game is about as good as Mugsy Bogues inside game was.

While I'm no great supporter of Brendan Haywood, it always annoys me how much everyone backs Etan Thomas. Reports said that Etan is the one who jumped Haywood.

I mean they're both mediocre center but Etan is a undersized mediocre center. They both need to be replaced if you ask me.

Well im not the biggest Etan fan, but fact is he has 10x the heart that Brenda does. If he had Brenda's height we might not be too bad off at center. But he doesn't and therefore we have to settle for his ugly looking hook shots.

agreed, Gerald Wallace is probably only better than Butler at blocking shots. He probably would not fit well on our team due to the fact that he had a breakout year and prolly has a big head now and wants to go somewhere where he will be a first or second option, which he would not be here. And talking about Kenyon Martin..... he is coming up double micro-fracture knee surgery. Is he even going to play like the old K-mart? they have been out of business and I wouldnt spend money on a Blue Light Special.

If we dont sign him then the only thing i ask for is that he go to the Western Conference because he destroyed us everytime we played...and lets not forget he was the one responsible for Gil not being with us for the playoffs (not intentional)!
