Does anyone else think that we should package a deal with team around 7-10 by sending them etan or haywood and our 16 pick to get noah.
Noah would be a perfect fit on this team. He doesn't need that ball at all and all he does is rebound and play D. Thats all we need from that position anyway. We have all the scoring we need but we need a tough guy like noah to come in and do the dirty work.
If they trade up they are going after Nick Young or Javaris Crittendon

I say it's more likely that we trade down and pick up some picks in the first (what's up Philly.)

BIOGRAPHY: Crittenton should be a first-round pick in a thin class for point guards. He was a major reason why Georgia Tech returned to the NCAA tournament after a one-year absence, averaging 14.4 points to tie fellow freshman Thaddeus Young for the team lead. Crittenton was a terrific playmaker for Georgia Tech throughout the season and played his best basketball down the stretch, averaging 16.9 points and 6.2 assists in the final 11 games. He has shown a penchant for getting to the basket and led the Yellow Jackets with 138 free-throw attempts because of his ability to drive the ball past defenders. Solid on defense, with a team-high 65 steals, and his size and rangy frame make him a difficult assignment for opposing point guards. Played in high school with current Orlando Magic star Dwight Howard, a factor in his development as a distributor. Prone to turnovers, averaging 3.9 per game to rank 17th-worst in the country in that department. Had a total of 12 turnovers in losses to Wake Forest in the ACC tournament and UNLV in the NCAA tournament. Crittenton's shooting is average, at best, making 35.6 percent of his 3-pointers. Despite those drawbacks, the guard certainly has the talent to play in the NBA and should be a solid selection for a team that is willing to give him time to develop.

Because Gil is not a true PG and would benefit from having somebody who could get him the ball when he is not bringing it up the court himself.

Gilbert needs the ball in his hand to be a good scorer hes not a two gaurd that moves without the ball in his hands.

We can agree to disagree flash, cuz i think Gil could play whatever he wanted to. When he comes off screens and nails those threes in the corner he doesn't seem to have any difficulty at all.

most of the threes I remember him hitting were when he dribbled behind screens not when he ran around the screen for a catch and shoot situation.
Like i said we can agree to disagree, either way you look at it, he is not your classic 1 or 2.

it doesnt matter either way.....in Eddie's princeton offense we do not need a traditional point guard anyways
