I actually like the trade if im the celts. This puts them in a playoff spot in the horrid east...All they need is point in free agency to seal the deal...If they can get a guy like bibby or mo williams then they could be a top 5 team in the east.

:rofl: That is laughable. I think Stephen A Smith hit it right on the head last night.. The only reason Boston made this trade was to put butts in the seats.

Too bad they're still going to suck ass and they threw away two peices to the future (Delonte West, and whoever they would have picked at #5).

Not to mention the fact that the chances of Ray Allen and Paul Pierce making it through the entire season healthy are about as good as Paris saying no to a blowjob.

in the East i think that Boston has some potential to become a playoff team with Pierce and Allen if they can stay healthy. They should add another solid player in free agency if they want to really have a shot to do something this year.

Boston has some potential, but wont go far...yeah they got rid of the "future" for some "now" type wins with Ray Allen instead of Jeff Green....bascally..they are sick of losing...but they can win some games, i think Al Jefferson is underated!

Obviously they have a chance to make the playoffs next year. But is "a chance to make the playoffs" really what Paul Pierce wants? I know that's not what the Celtics fans want. I'm convinced Danny Ainge has Downs Syndrome.
