The Blazers are now looking like they really something up there in Portland. How long until they can compete for a championship? I think they could make the playoffs this year but not come close to competing for a ship. With Lemarcus, Oden, and Roy as a young nucleus they have a great foundation to build around. This franchise has really taken a turn for the good.
You can't leave out Jack, he was coming along just fine towards the end of the year. They have done a pretty damn good job of assembling that squad.

The blazers have done a great job the last 2 drafts..They should be a playoff team this upcoming season.

Not to mention Steve Francis should help hold them over for a couple of years... they suddenly have a good team.

he is garbage....I would not be suprised at all if they waived him or tried to package him up for anything, that is not what the Blazers need at all is a non passing pg

The probley wont make the playoffs this year but they will next...look for the spurs, suns, mavs, jazz, rockets, nuggets, warrior, and clippers to represtent the west this year. With the hornets, lakers, and blazers competing for the last spots... just to tough to go from number 1 pick to playoffs in this confence.

Haha, overpaid, yes. Garbage, no. Blame the overpaidness on Isaiah... he's the Dan Snyder of the NBA...
Anyway back on topic Stevie ain't what he used to be, but the man can still ball when he gets minutes. If you don't believe me why don't you look back at his performance against the Wiz last year... remember that? (I know one game doesn't make a player, but he clearly can still contribute.)
I'm not a huge Francis fan or anything, he's just not washed up yet is all I'm saying, and with a team full of first and second year players it's good to have a veteran who you know can score every night. Stevie will do that for them at least until the young'uns come into thier own.
