About Me: Unfortunately, to the dismay of my fellow peers at Wizards Extreme, having lived in the DC area virtually all my life did not make me a homer when rooting for some of my favorite sports teams. I am a die-hard Miami Dolphins fan and have been one since my pre-adolescent years, I enjoyed the Knicks for some time until Isaiah screwed that up, and just recently picked up the habit of “unleashing the fury” with the Caps. About me:  I was born in Washington, D.C. (George Washington hospital) and raised in Northern VA. I'm all about DC sports and anything DC related. I bleed burgundy and gold, love the Wizards and am also considered a boxing junkie.  I started WE in 2006-2007 with my brother and Co-Founder Matt Naqvi for the idea of talking Wizards basketball and I am pleased with my team and the direction WE are going. About Me:  I work for a family run insurance agency that my Grandfather started in 1955.  Live in Gainesville with my beautiful wife and our puppy.  I have loved basketball ever since I can remember, and played since I was big enough to shoot a ball.  I remember going to a Bullets game back in the day and meeting George Muresan, and have been a Bullets/Wizards fan forever.  I love all sports, but NBA comes first for me, which is rare in Redskins territory.

I received my B.A. in Communication from the University of Maryland, College Park, following an A.A. in Business from Montgomery College.

I’m a husband, father of two boys, and a devout Washington basketball fan.  I think Sheik Pearson had some of the smoothest ball-handling skills in the city, and that Exree Hipp had the coolest name.  I cried when the Wizards made it out of the first round against the Bulls in 2005, and will probably cry when it happens again.  I also cried the night Jim McIlvaine notched his career high in points when he played for the Bullets.  Because some guys just need their moment, you know?
