I definitely agree with you, only if he is the best player available when the Wiz pick in the 2nd round. I know the Wiz aren't the greatest team right now that can have the luxury of appeasing the fans by drafting a local kid. I just think he can bring some intangibles to the team that you can't really teach, which is his passion, energy and excitement for the game (but again, I know I am a little biased, being a MD fan).

This guy too.
Would have liked a Blake trade if we could have done it with Haywood. I think we could have pulled a Blake/Rudy Fernandez trade for Haywood if Ernie would have waited and been more aggressive. The Blazers lost two caliber centers and I didn't hear that the Clippers wanted to shop Camby until after Haywood was traded. Bad job by Ernie on not bringing Fernandez here and I would have liked to see Blake back in a Wizards uniform (although he should have never left was a great bench player).

Chris Wilcox hasn't done anything in this league and hasn't lived up to his draft status. Really talented player, but he never caught on in the NBA.

I remember we have Lonny Baxter a 10-day contract 5 or 6 years ago too, I thought he played really well for that short span but we decided to cut him. I believe in favor of Anthony Goldwire or somebody else.
