It's official... Miggy T is back in Baltimore to play third base and Garrett Atkins is moving across the diamond to play first. Personally, I don't like it. Tejada, while a great player, doesn't seem to put in any effort when his team starts to lose and with a team full of youngsters I think you need to bring in veterans to teach good work habits and help them learn how to prepare for the majors. Also don't like it because he has never played third base and I thought Atkins could get the job done easily and Wigginton, who could hold down the fort at first, proved that when he gets consistent playing time he can put up some decent numbers.

idk i liked the move to bring him back.It does suck for Wiggy with playing time. I think if they can somehow bring back Bedard it could be a decent season.

From what I've been reading a bunch of people said they would have pegged them as a dark horse to make the playoffs if they played in any other division. There's a difference between having a decent season in the AL East and having a decent season everywhere else... but as a fan of a team that hasn't finished a season above .500 since 1997 I can't be too picky.

I love the move. Was never a big fan of the Wiggman. Tejada may be older than the last time he was an Oriole, but I think he'll take full advantage of getting to hit at Yard.

Letting Mora go will hurt our infield defense a bit, but if Tejada is hitting and Cesar Izturis plays D like he did last year, than we should be fine.

Let the season start, bring back Bedard (after he fully recovers) and we might have a chance at getting over .500

"I think it is much more difficult to go from short to third than it is to go from third to short," said Robinson, according to the report. "At third base, you really have to take the ball as it comes. Third base is a reactionary position, and it might take him a while to get used to it."
