    Default Etan Tears His MCL

Really, though. I hope he gets better soon. Hopefully in the meantime McGee and Blatche continue to progress.

This guy has really had a ton of bad luck. First the heart thing and now more injuries. I doubt that he will ever play again. He really never has recovered from his first injury as far as getting back to the same level of play as before. Thankfully he has made enough money to retire. Not good news for the Wizards though.

    Etan Thomas Has Torn MCL

The Wizards today announced that veteran center Etan Thomas has a torn MCL in his left knee and will be out indefinitely. He will be reevaluated in two weeks. The injury occured in the first quarter of last night's loss to Milwaukee. Thomas left the game and did not return.

Thomas, who missed all of last season following open-heart surgery, is averaging 3.5 points and 2.5 rebounds in 11.4 minutes. The longest tenured Wizard, Thomas has one more year remaining on his contract.

thats sad. he was in the game for about 2 mins, missed about 4 dunks, and screamed/ flailed his arms around 20 times. sorry he is hurt but he is a complete bama.

    Damn, simultaneous posting.

We're so snakebitten, it's annoying. I hope Etan gets better, but in the mean time all it means is more playing time for the young guys.

I'm still trying to figure out how this is a problem? It give Tap one less excuse not to play McGee.

^ That's true, but still, it sucks that another Wiz player is injured. Best of luck to Etan during his recovery.
