    Default Tank Mode?

As the season is winding down we can all sit back and enjoy the last 15 games. We can either do either 1 of 2 ways. We continue to see Caron and Antawn unnecessarily play 40 min a night for another L or we play the young guys exclusively to give them that shot in the arm and to truly be able to evaluate what we have on our hands.

I know Tap doesn't make all the calls so some blame for this non PT goes to Ernie who is quickly falling out of favor imo, unless he can pull Blake or create a serious trade for us if we don't get the 1st pick but we need action and we need it now!

So the topic is, is it time to throw in the towel and let the young guys go nuts on the floor and play through their mistakes or do we risk unnecessary injury to our all stars for the sake of some perceived notion that we are playing for pride when the facts claim we should do otherwise? i.e PT to the young guys while its there and the season was over before it began

Let the kids play.. there is no reason to risk our stars at this point in the season..

As nice as it would be to see Gil come back.. I think he should just sit this season out..

AJ took a pretty hard fall last night that scared the hell out of me.. I don't wanna see another season like this one..

Well in my opinion, the answer is clear but it is also the opposite of what is going to happen.

We really need to start limiting Caron and Antawn, to like 20 minutes a game at most. We should start limiting Songaila (even tho he has been ballin) and Mike James's minutes. We all have thought for a long time that we should be letting the young guys go and get the minutes. But at this point in the season, it is definitely true. Crit, Dmac, NY, Javale, and Blatche should be the unit we have on the floor most of the time.

Now is time, accept defeat and establish some consistency for our bench for the future.

We all know this isn't going to happen tho.

jesus we've been begging for the young guys since ****ing EJ was the coach. The fact that Tap is still playing Caron and Twan for 40 minutes a game, should be enough alone to make sure Tapscott does not return next year. If we don't see more of McGee in the last 15 games, i'm going to vomit.

Yeah, like everyone here has been saying, I too want to see the young guys get more PT, especially Nick and JaVale. For instance, Nick had a solid game last night with 14 points, but I don't believe he played in the 4th at all, after having a pretty good game until then. What gives Tap?!?

I watched WPL on Comcast SportsNet today and Ivan was there and he touched on this topic of the young guys and their lack of PT. He said that the young guys seem to be goofing off in practices, inside the locker room is a joke and Tap wants to see more out of these younger guys in practice, in order for them to get more minutes (which are to be earned according to Tap).

We need to give the young players more playing time. Definietly. If we are as good are supposed to be next season, there will be no time for the kids to play unless we blow someone out or vice-versa. Point is, season Is basically over for us. We have no chance at making the playoffs and we should rest Jamison, Butler, and Songaila who have been playing like 40 minutes a game.
